the tcp time-wait state problem

i was planning to publish a document about the tcp time-wait problem which i encountered with a linux kernel 2.2. but afair this has been resolved for the 2.4 series.
although the tcp time-wait state problem is a lot harder if not impossible to trigger in current linux kernels, i intend to include it in the network section of the bottleneck document. you might want to come back some time in the not too far future to hopefully find it written and uploaded.
